A Rider and His Gelding

A friend from Canada has allowed me to share some photos of himself and his male gelding in a training/riding session, and they are posted below along with his own comments. You may click on the thumbnails below to view the full-sized versions.

"This is Tango, a '7 year-old' green-broke palomino gelding, seen here all tacked up and awaiting his Master's pleasure. Shot taken at my private home riding arena. Tango is wearing a matching flaxen mane to go with his tail. This cowboy only likes to ride pretty ponies."

"Yours Truly, Rough Ridin' Ricky, riding his new pet. 'Whoa there, boy...'"

"Walk on...let's go!" A good, obedient pony gets to work so that his Master may enjoy His ride.

"Ever lustfully astride! In my hand is my favorite quirt for human pony riding."

"Where I like to be: on top and in control. With a quirt like this one, you'd better believe it (actually, this one is usually reserved for riding real horses)!"

"A Western horseman displays masterful and effortless control of his mount."
